Author Guidelines

Ensure your submission aligns with IIAR's global standards for excellence. These guidelines are designed to support clarity, quality, and international research impact.

1. Scope of Acceptable Submissions

IIAR Journal accepts research, policy papers, white papers, case studies, educational resources, digital works, and creative content across academic, professional, governmental, and public domains.

2. Formatting Requirements

  • File types: .doc, .docx, or .pdf only
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
  • Referencing Style: APA 7th Edition (preferred)
  • Structured sections: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Findings, Conclusion, References

3. Originality & Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts must be original. All works are checked with advanced plagiarism detection tools. Plagiarism above 15% may result in outright rejection.

4. Access Options

Open Access: Allows global visibility and public engagement without barriers.
Paid Access: Enables monetization and sustainability, especially for unfunded research in Africa and beyond.

5. Review Process

Every manuscript passes through an editorial board for blind peer review. Authors may be contacted for revisions, clarifications, or editorial adjustments.

6. Submission Ethics

  • Declare conflicts of interest
  • Obtain ethical clearance where required
  • All co-authors must approve the submission

7. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright and grant IIAR the right to publish digitally or in print. Authors must declare if prior publication exists elsewhere.
