Call for Papers — IIAR Journal of Science, Engineering, and Applied Research
The IIAR Journal of Science, Engineering, and Applied Research invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for publication. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the International Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Research (IIAR), we welcome high-quality work in science, engineering, and applied research, including research that applies artificial intelligence and data-driven methods to the field.
We welcome:
- Original empirical research
- Theoretical and conceptual papers
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Well-grounded applied and case-based research
Submission model: Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling (continuous) basis. Accepted articles are published in the next available monthly issue, so there is no submission deadline.
Review: All submissions undergo editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review. Integrity thresholds apply (Turnitin similarity below 15–20%; AI-writing detection below 20%; full AI-use disclosure required).
Article Processing Charge (APC): A modest publication fee applies only to accepted articles: ₦20,000 for authors based in Africa and US $20 for authors outside Africa. There are no submission fees. Fee waivers and reductions are available on request for authors facing financial constraints; requests are assessed independently of the editorial decision.
How to submit
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online system. Follow these steps:
- Create an account — click Register to set up your author profile, or Log in if you already have one.
- Prepare your manuscript using the IIAR Submission Template (see the Author Guidelines, Submission Template, and Style Guide linked in the page footer).
- Submit online through the Make a Submission page and complete the guided submission steps.
Important — due process: To ensure proper editorial tracking and fairness to all authors, only manuscripts submitted through a registered author account on this platform will be reviewed. Papers sent by email or through any other channel will not be processed. The address below is for enquiries only — please do not email manuscripts to it.
